How do you restore bad credit?
We dispute bad credit by removing inaccurate items and misinformation from your credit report and by educating you on how credit works and you can work to maintain good credit.

The first step on your path to good credit begins with education and training.  One of our expert credit professionals will review your credit report with you in order to identify elements of your history that have improved your score and elements that have hurt your score.  We will educate you on the methods used by major credit bureaus to rank credit worthiness.  Then, we will offer you tips and techniques that will allow you to maintain excellent credit for a lifetime.  Although our services typically last for up to 6-months only, the valuable educational tools that you receive will be with you for a lifetime.

We will work with you to identify inaccurate items and misinformation in your credit report.  Then, we will report these items to the credit agencies as disputes.  A disputed credit listing must be verified as accurate for it to remain on the credit report. If the credit listings contain an error, the credit bureau may simply correct the item, but very often, disputed credit items cannot be verified because either the creditor either no longer possesses necessary information or does not to go to the effort of verifying it.  Furthermore, the investigation must be completed within 30 days or the listing must be removed.  For these reasons, properly disputed credit listings are removed from your credit report with remarkable frequency. At the conclusion of the credit bureau’s investigation, anew copy of the credit report is sent to you along with any deletions or improvements.  You then mail us the results and we update your file. The cycle repeats itself at strategic intervals.

It should be noted that, oftentimes, disputed items are temporarily removed while the specific item is investigated.  Also, in some instances, disputed items will return to a credit report in subsequent reporting by creditors.  Thus, our education and training is vital to allowing you to maintain your good credit throughout your lifetime.  Also, during the course of your six-month service subscription with First Trust Capital Credit Repair, we will work to keep inaccurate items from re-appearing on your report.

How long does it take?
Everyone wants you to see results immediately. Although everyone’s credit history is different everyone will see responses from the bureaus within the first 45 days and every month after that your credit profile improves.  Credit repair is not an overnight fix; however significant changes can be seen as early as just a couple of months.  However a majority clean up may take between three to six months.

Can you guarantee to remove my negative items?
No, beware of companies that try to say “sure, we can remove your charge off”.  The law does not allow for companies to guarantee removal of negative information. No one can remove accurate, verifiable and complete information from your credit profile. First Trust Capital Repair does not make false claims or promises.  We do, however, perform our services to the best of our abilities legally and effectively and should we not be able to assist you in improving your credit profile, you are covered under our money back guarantee policy.

Is this Legal?
Yes, you are given the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including the right to challenge inaccurate, misleading and obsolete items appearing on your credit report.  Our team of legal advisors utilizes every venue available to you under the law to help you assert these rights.   Disputing inaccuracies on your credit profile is your RIGHT and we are here to help.

I can do this myself:
Yes you can, resources and links are available if requested.  There is nothing a credit repair company can do for you that you cannot do for yourself.  There are people who do not have the time, experience or patience to deal with their credit issues on their own and would rather save the stress and frustration by hiring a credit repair company like ours.  Federal law states that credit repair companies MUST advise you of your consumer rights and that you can do it yourself.

Why do I need to pay my bills?
When we delete a negative credit report listing, the actual debt remains, you still owe the same amount of money that you owed to begin with.  If you don’t pay the debt, the creditor or collection agency could always report the item again.  So removing the listing without addressing the debt is only a temporary solution.  Our services are designed for individuals that can pay their bills now, but have had problems in the past.

I’ve heard that changing numbers in my social security number or by using an EIN tax number; I can fool the credit bureaus into creating a completely clean, new credit file under my name.
This is highly ILLEGAL and punishable by law!! Beware of companies that offer/suggest this type of fraud!
